But, the clipboard history is the important part.Īny recommendations are greatly appreciated. I'd love the ability to have other features built in like the emojis or gifs. I use it extensively in my workflow so I have to find something similar on Mac. I would need something that either can be activated by a hotkey, or is easy to activate frequently given how much that software saved my ass lol. Importantly, it was activated by a hotkey (Win + X) which is really handy.

But with Windows 11 they implemented it natively and added some nifty features that made it feel quite similar to Google's GBoard on phones. On Windows 10 I used a software called Ditto which did essentially the same thing.

It's excellent and feel very Apple like with it's design and functionality. It also has different tabs to input emoji's, gifs and misc symbols like degrees or trademark for example. It lists anything you've copied and that includes photos. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like.

The main thing I've noticed I'm missing so far is Windows 11's built in clipboard manager. With that though comes learning to make the transition. The bang for your buck on these models is absolutely excellent. Typing this on my new M1 Air and have been digging it so far as a lifetime Windows user.
